Network and coverage
Your eSIM roams on whichever eligible local network gives the best signal: Cosmote, Nova, Vodafone, Wind Greece. Some plans include 5G where the network offers it.
Why Kokio for Greece
Kokio asks for no ID at all: you sign in with a passkey, and we never collect your name or email.
Kokio plans connect by roaming, so there is no local SIM to register.
Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or crypto (USDC, USDT or DAI from a Kokio Wallet on Base, or other coins via MoonPay). The plan price is the same whichever way you pay, because Kokio covers the payment processing fees.
Tips for Greece
- Your eSIM can use Cosmote, Vodafone or Nova. Wind Greece became Nova, so your phone may show either name.
- Going on to Albania, North Macedonia or Croatia? The Balkans plans in the app cover Greece and its northern neighbours on one eSIM.
- Island-hopping for two weeks? Unlimited plans run for 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 or 30 days, so the 15-day plan fits.
Setup
- Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi. It installs once only.
- Land at Athens (ATH).
- iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service → choose the Kokio line for mobile data, with data roaming on.
- Not connecting? Toggle Airplane Mode, then pick a network manually.
